Diagnosis: 3,000 Graft Hair Transplant

This patient is a male in his 40’s who presented with hair loss throughout the frontal and mid-scalp. While he did have some signs of thinning in the crown/vertex area near the back, it was minimal and not an area of concern for him. The patient requested a rebuild of the entire frontal half of the scalp. This would allow the new transplants to blend with the thicker native hair in the crown and create a uniform look throughout the top. We removed 3,000 grafts via the FUT technique, and used these to: rebuild a new hairline, densely pack the frontal scalp behind it, and strategically fill through the mid-scalp to meet the thicker native hair in the crown. The patient returned 12 months later, very pleased with his results.
