Diagnosis: 1,500 Graft Frontal Band Rebuild

This patient is a male in his mid-30’s who presented with classic Norwood Grade II – III hair loss in the frontal band region. Based on his age, goals, and potential for more hair loss up the road, we decided to do a conservative rebuild of the frontal band area. Using 1,500 graft via the FUT technique, we rebuilt a new, appropriate hairline – designed to age well, and densely packed the band behind it. The patient returned 12 months after surgery and was very pleased with the results. The hairline will serve him well for years to come, and he has plenty of donor left to use in the future if he needs to because we started conservative with graft number and utilized the more efficient FUT harvesting technique.
