Norwood Stage 6 (classic) hairloss. 2,700 grafts in one visit

This patient had a large amount of balding but not a great donor area. HOWEVER, he did have a nice curl to his hair that we figured we could use to his advantage to make up for his low donor density. What we did was to polorize or “weight” his grafts to the right side of his scalp so that once it grew out he could comb it to the left and backward over his head. The idea was that the curls would provide increased density AND would allow the hairs to “link” together to keep the hair mass in the area that it was combed into. It worked as planned as can be seen in the After photos.
